For its debut at AKAA Paris, O’DA Art Gallery will present a thematically curated booth featuring studies of the African Identity, addressed through the practices of Nigerian visual artists, Obinna Makata, Soji Adesina & Taiye Idahor. Drawing inspiration from the complex dynamics of African and Diasporan communities, these artists sift through layers of social, ancestral, and cultural frameworks as they coalesce in an increasingly globalised society. From concept to exhibition each wall will display fragments of individuality and culture with the intention to capture the dynamism & shifting structures of society.
