We are pleased to announce our debut at Art X Lagos 2023.
For its debut at Art X Lagos, O’DA Art will showcase a solo presentation featuring the work of visual artist, Uthman Wahaab. In this new body of work titled, ‘Where is Chi Chi’, Wahaab continues his exploration of the conventions of beauty imposed upon the female body by highlighting the freedom to enjoy, express and exist in leisurely environments.
With this body of work, Uthman Wahaab's goal is to critique the ever-shifting social paradigm around the female form–and the human body in general. By creating scenes of heavy women in various states of exhilarating and relaxing activity he aims to depict a world in which full figured is phenomenal.
