O’DA Art is pleased to present a new body of work from the celebrated Abe Odedina. In this series titled ‘JUST LIKE THAT’, Abe offers a unique vision that transcends traditional confinement within formal artistic conventions. Each piece, meticulously crafted upon wood invites the viewer into a world of contemplative figures and symbolic elements. Throughout this concise collection, we are introduced to diverse characters but within a similar background, akin to a series of mugshots. In the background scenery he employs the use of a beautiful blue sea view, with strong bold colours asaccents on the sitter.
