Ganiu Ismail (b. 1997) is a contemporary artist from Lagos, Nigeria. He earned a degree in Painting from Yaba College of Technology in Lagos. Ganiu's introduction to the art world stemmed from his childhood fascination with cartoons. The animated characters and landscapes sparked his creativity. He also found inspiration in the various cultures existing in the city of Lagos where he was raised.
